In 2015, a multinational client was in the process of rolling out a new governance framework.  So, the question becomes, “How do you use learning to facilitate change management?”  That’s where Knowledge Launch comes in. Knowledge Launch was asked to design a series of workshops to explain the new processes and to create laboratories for application and practice.  Our solution was end to end.

Working hand in hand with the internal team, Knowledge Launch helped design the messaging for key sessions, sourced external speakers, designed visuals and collateral for the events, and produced the plenary and breakout sessions for the kick off at an off-site location.  From the learning content to the lights and sound that brought the meetings to life, Knowledge Launch supported every aspect of the roll out.  We embedded ourselves into the internal team so that it was hard to distinguish any barriers between our two organizations to anyone watching.

In the end, hundreds of professionals not only heard about the change coming their way, they experienced it.

Live simulations provide some of the most interesting experiences for bringing learning to life. In order to explore decision-making under pressure, participants were launched into the high stakes world of television production, asked to develop programming concepts for a fictitious cable network launched by a major advocacy group. Balancing the competing needs of sponsors, viewers, and management, the participants were responsible for developing fresh concepts and securing advertising dollars while working with editors to create pilots for each of their concepts. The experience is capped off by a Network Emmys celebration where participants not only unveil their ideas but bring the relevant lessons back into the real issues facing their companies.

When we hear the word “trade show”, we get excited. Knowledge Launch knows that the passive days of walking alongside a series of booths went out with the Blackberry. Today, exhibits need to be engaging, interactive and compelling. Knowledge Launch expositions are multi-sensory “hubs” of activity. We “script” the entire experience to ensure that learners are faced with real challenges within the “hub” and given opportunities to get questions answered at the granular level. Learning hubs incorporate media, live demonstrations, a chance for participants to interact virtually, and the ability to have great conversations. Think of it as a party with a purpose…to maximize learning.
